Our local FamilySearch Center has new, high-tech book scanner that can quickly digitize documents and combine them into single PDF files. It is well-suited for handwritten journals and utilizes a laser to scan a book page in two seconds. This scanner will “flatten” the digital images and won’t damage the book’s binding. Bring your family's books, journals, and documents to the center at 11443 McMillan Rd., Boise or see MERIDIANIDAHOEASTFSC.COM for more information.

[In the temple] we see the majesty and sacredness of the sealing power—it makes individual salvation and family exaltation universally available to the children of God wherever and whenever they may have lived on the earth. No other theology or philosophy or authority can match such an all-inclusive opportunity. This sealing power is a perfect manifestation of the justice, mercy, and love of God.
The Sealing Power, Elder D. Todd Christofferson, General Conference, October 2023
Opportunities for service in temple and family history are vast and varied. Given your current circumstances, what can you do to help further this work? Not only will your efforts bless those on the other side, several talks in the April 2024 general conference were about the blessings in our own lives as we are diligent with temple work.

Searching for your ancestors is a grave responsibility.
Eventually, all those seeking their ancestors will come to their census.
When you are feeling discouraged, just remember, your ancestors had their share of bad heir days.
