Ignite Your Faith is a discussion series that will grow your testimony, build your faith, and prepare you for discipleship, missionary activity, and life. Discussions are led by the youth with additional insights provided by recently returned missionaries and selected young adults. Carpool with friends if possible. The dress is casual. The desserts are stellar. The discussion will be epic. Help us spread the word! Encourage all high school seniors to join in, let them know they can bring their friends.

We are excited to invite everyone to unite our state in service! The America250 in Idaho Ambassadors’ Service Challenge is joining forces with faith, nonprofit, community, and government organizations to achieve a historic goal: 250,000 acts of service across Idaho for America’s 250th birthday between now and July 4, 2026.
How You Can Participate:
Visit JustServe.org for volunteer ideas and serve locally or remotely.
Share about America’s birthday and/or post a graphic about the America250 in Idaho Ambassadors’ Service Challenge. Tag @America250 in Idaho Ambassadors.
Record each time you volunteer for 30 min or longer at IdahoKindness.com to help Idaho reach our 250,000 acts of service goal!
Be part of Idaho’s historic service challenge—every entry counts!
The community has an opportunity to serve Interfaith Sanctuary and help them prepare for a big move! At the end of February, 212 men, women, and children will be transitioning to their new Shelter Home. To help this voluntary community-wide service project, you can make a needed impact by providing NEW items for Move-In Care Packs and stocking Mercy Kitchen with nonperishable food.
If interested in participating, here's how you can help:
Option 1: Shop the Amazon Wishlist (The easiest way to help is by sending essential items directly to Shelter Home)
Move-In Care Packs Wishlist: Every adult and child will receive a Move-In Care Pack with NEW essential items so they can rest easy on their first night. (TIP: When you've scrolled to backpacks, you've seen the whole list!)
Mercy Kitchen Wishlist: Help stock the shelves of Shelter Home's new kitchen so they can start serving healthy meals on day one.
Option 2: Spread the Word
You can view and share all current service opportunities at any time via: justserve.org/interfaithsanctuary or share through Facebook.
Thank you for helping welcome our unhoused neighbors into Interfaith Sanctuary's new Shelter Home!
From The Salvation Army, Boise Food Pantry: We need friendly volunteers to act as shopping assistants helping clients navigate the pantry, restocking shelves, and creating a welcoming environment for the individuals we serve.
Volunteer Roles:
Pantry Prep: Help sort and stock shelves (Morning Shifts)
Shopping Aide: Walk alongside shoppers and help select food items (Afternoon shifts)
This would be perfect for an individual looking for a daytime volunteer opportunity. Or, wouldn't it be fun to go out to breakfast or lunch with friends and then go over and serve for a couple hours together? (Direct Link to the JustServe.org post: Food Pantry "Client Choice" Assistant )
If you would like to volunteer, please call Stacy Lawrence at 208-433-4430, or email her at: Stacy.Lawrence@usw.salvationarmy.org
NOTE FOR YOUTH AND ACTIVITY LEADERS: The Salvation Army in Boise also has opportunities to help with their food pantry and other tasks at various times throughout the year, and occasionally during evening hours or on a Saturday, which would be perfect for a youth class activity or an auxiliary activity.
Please inquire with Stacy about alternative opportunities to serve. Or, you are always welcome to reach out to Katie Peck, Stake Communication Specialist, for help finding the perfect JustServe.org opportunity for you and your family, class, or auxiliary. Thanks! (Katie Peck: 661-204-9524)

The FamilySearch Center is looking for anyone who would like to serve as a staff worker. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to do family history research and use the equipment to preserve your family memories. And, it's a joyful experience to serve those who come to the center seeking help for their family history efforts. No prior experience is required to serve in the center. You will be trained and given time to learn. If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Brian Bird, Gene and Camille Roylance, or Janeen Lish.
