Ignite Your Faith is a discussion series that will grow your testimony, build your faith, and prepare you for discipleship, missionary activity, and life. Discussions are led by the youth with additional insights provided by recently returned missionaries and selected young adults. Carpool with friends if possible. The dress is casual. The desserts are stellar. The discussion will be epic. Help us spread the word! Encourage all high school seniors to join in, let them know they can bring their friends.
The Meridian Idaho North Stake is assigned to clean the temple on December 22, 23 and 26. 15 volunteers are needed each day. If you have not cleaned the temple before, this is a wonderful way to experience temple service in a different fashion than you may be used to. As this is the week of Christmas, we have only been asked to clean the temple on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Please consider giving some of your time to cleaning the temple Christmas week by signing up at the link below. A temple recommend is required to enter and clean the temple. General information about cleaning the temple is included below. Thank you for your service!

General Information:
December 22 - Monday morning - 9:00am- 12:00pm (3-hour shift) Doors open at 8:30. Prayer meeting starts at 9.
December 23 - Tuesday evening - 9:45pm- 12:00am (2.25 hours shift) Please do not show up before 9:30pm. We cannot start cleaning until after prayer meeting. Prayer meeting will begin at 9:45pm.
Mondays: The doors to the temple will be open 15 minutes before our start times.
When you arrive, someone will be at the recommend desk to greet you and show you where to go.
You should come wearing “Church Dress” and bring a clean, comfortable pair of shoes, we provide white scrubs and socks. Note: The temple no longer provides shoes to wear.
After you change, we meet as a group for prayer meeting. During this meeting there will be a hymn, prayer, spiritual thought and then you will be given your assignments.
Make sure to bring your Temple Recommend – staff is unable to authorize anyone to come into the temple without one. Only the temple presidency or a recorder can look someone up. It takes many hands to clean and prepare The Lords House for the Patrons that will be coming the next day. Please know how appreciative they are for the help.
Attention nurses and physicians:
Genesis Community Health (GCH) Caldwell Clinic just celebrated its one-year anniversary, and thanks to a $260K+ grant from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they were able to complete their four dental operatories.
GCH's CEO shared recently that the top need is volunteers from the medical community. For more information, go to GenesisCommunityHealth.com or call 208-384-5200.
The FamilySearch Center is looking for anyone who would like to serve as a staff worker. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to do family history research and use the equipment to preserve your family memories. And, it's a joyful experience to serve those who come to the center seeking help for their family history efforts. No prior experience is required to serve in the center. You will be trained and given time to learn. If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please contact Brian Bird, Gene and Camille Roylance, or Janeen Lish.

There is a great opportunity to serve some incredible missionaries while living in the comfort of your own home!
Idaho Boise Mission Office are in need to help identify two couples to serve in the as senior service missionaries. Hopefully these new couples could serve for 18 months each. Here are the mission office roles that need replacements:
1. Executive Secretary (Brother)
2. Mission Office Secretary (Brother or Sister)
3. Vehicle Coordinator (Brother or Sister)
4. Financial Secretary (Brother or Sister)
Ideally, one couple would be ready to serve by October, and the other couple would be ready to serve by November. There is a little flexibility on that timing, but the October / November timeframe would be ideal.
Please contact President Maxfield if interested.
Volunteers continue to be needed at the Idaho Youth Ranch tree farm in Caldwell. Contact Nate Gilbert to coordinate volunteering at ngilbert@youthranch.org.
